Lisa Vanderpump Throws Shade At Former Vanderpump Rules Cast Member Stassi Schroeder Ahead Of Season 9
Season 9 of Vanderpump Rules is right around the corner, and the dynamic is going to be a whole lot different this year. Veteran show alums Stassi Schroeder, Kristen Doute, Max Boyens and Brett Caprioni were all fired in after several racist and homophobic occurrences came to light. Then Jax Taylor and his wife, Brittany Cartwright, suddenly quit. Though they might be gone, executive producer and matriarch Lisa Vanderpump hasn't forgotten them. That is, she hasn't forgotten to shade Schroeder, one of her favorite pastimes.
In case fans might be worried that the upcoming ninth season of Vanderpump Rules won't be as dramatic, what with all the newborn babies floating around, Lisa Vanderpump has some news for you. The answer is no, it's still dramatic, even without Stassi Schroeder’s frequent temper tantrums on the show. Vanderpump told Radar Online:
The shade here is that Lisa Vanderpump is referring to Stassi Schroeder’s various birthday blow-ups while on the show. The most iconic of which took place back in when Schroeder and co-star Tom Schwartz started throwing drinks at each other after her ex, Jax Taylor, showed up at her party unannounced. Even as recently as Season 7, Schroeder was seen getting into a drunken argument on her birthday with Beau Clark, who is now her fiancé and father of her first child.
Lisa Vanderpump and Stassi Schroeder notoriously didn't get along for quite a while on Vanderpump Rules. Schroeder even exited the show for a brief time, but she eventually begged Vanderpump to be brought back into the fold. They rebuilt their relationship and, despite Schroeder’s firing, the two are still on good terms, with Vanderpump telling Us Weekly recently that she ran into her former waitress and that she wishes all the former castmates well.
Stassi Schroeder's tantrums might not be at the forefront of Vanderpump Rules anymore, but the drama is supposedly still at DEFCON-1 in Season 9. Lisa Vanderpump said about the new season:
Previously, Lisa Vanderpump had shared that Scheana Shay and Brock Davies’ relationship takes center stage in the new season. Apparently, the Vanderpump Rules cast are still partial to question the validity of Shay’s paramours. But judging by the new trailer, she still doesn't appreciate it very much.
It's still unclear if Stassi Schroeder and all the other Vanderpump Rules alum absences will be addressed in Season 9. Nevertheless, even now as a soon-to-be grandmother, Lisa Vanderpump can still casually shade them without batting an eye. Check out the premiere of the new season on September 28 on Bravo.

Lisa Vanderpump Still Hasnt Heard From Stassi Schroeder, Hints Jax Taylor and Brittany Cartwright Didnt Leave the Show on Their Own
Out with the old! Vanderpump Rules was surrounded with controversy in , but Lisa Vanderpump is looking to the future.
In June, four cast members — Stassi Schroeder, Kristen Doute, Max Boyensand Brett Caprioni — were axed from the show following racially insensitive remarks. Months later, Jax Taylor and Brittany Cartwright announced their exits. But was it really their choice?
“Was I surprised what they decided? Well, if you put it like that, yeah. I would have been really surprised,” the Overserved With Lisa Vanderpump star, 62, told Us Weekly exclusively on Monday, March 15, hinting that the couple didn’t leave on their own. “Who makes the rules? It’s not me. … Bravo, they produce the show. Even though I’m an executive producer on it, you know, they make most of the decisions.”
In December, the pair announced in matching statements via Instagram that they wouldn’t be returning to the Bravo reality show. After getting called out for their exact same wording, Cartwright, 32, replied, “Do you guys really truly think we got to write whatever we wanted?”
The pair, who married in , are currently expecting their first child and listed that as the main reason for their exit. “I am 41 with a baby on the way,” Taylor wrote. “[This] was the best choice for my whole family.”
The Pooch Perfect judge, for her part, also revealed that she has not heard from Schroeder, 32, who was one of the four stars let go from the show last summer.
“I haven’t spoken to her. I did reach out to her a couple of times, but she never responded after she was let go,” the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum told Us. “And that’s her choice, you know. That’s OK.”
Schroeder, who welcomed a daughter with husband Beau Clark in January, opened up about the difficult time she went through after being cut from the reality show, noting that being pregnant made it better.
“If I wasn’t pregnant, I probably would have just like … gone to alcoholism, Xanax,” she said on her “The Good, The Bad, The Baby” podcast earlier this month. “I would have lashed out, dark passenger-ed. And I think our baby percent saved me.”

Beau was dressed casually for a spring day with a white patterned button-up shirt, olive shorts and a blue baseball cap.
Although Brittany's son Cruz and Stassi's daughter Hartford got to share glances from across the table, Cruz looked a little too tuckered out to participate much.
The former reality stars were part of a group of current and former Vanderpump Rules stars who were all pregnant around the same time, including recent moms Lala Kent and Scheana Shay.
Brittany and Stassi's families were catching up just days after the still-employed friends were seen filming Vanderpump Rules on Thursday.
Feeling good! Throughout her pregnancy, Brittany had to contend with social media trolls who berated her for her weight gain, but she recently revealed her slimmed-down figure five weeks out

Earlier this week, she showed off her slimmed-down postpartum figure five weeks after giving birth and revealed that she was 'feeling good,' even though she has 'a long way to go.'
She also wrote on Instagram that she was looking forward to being able to hit the gym and workout again, though she wasn't allowed to do any heavy exercise until six weeks out.
In another video she addressed some of the things new mothers might not expect after giving birth.
'I think some of the craziest things about post partum for me has been just how long you bleed and how long you're sore for.'
'So hang in there new mommas!' she added for encouragement. 'You got this, you know nobody talks about these things but you're definitely gonna go through them. But it's all worth it because these cuddles are the best thing ever.'

Stassi welcomed her first child earlier this year in January.
On her new parenting podcast The Good, The Bad, The Baby, she revealed that her plans for an over-the-top sex reveal party were canceled in the wake of her firing from Vanderpump Rules for calling the police on her former coworker Faith Stowers.
She'd originally wanted a plane to fly around to share her baby's sex, but she was eventually talked into having a simple party at home with family and friends.

Stassi Schroeder from Vanderpump Rules dished that Jax Taylor wasnt actually a bartender at SUR when the show started filming. But because they were dating, Schroeder got him the gig at the restaurant and the rest is history. But he wasnt actually working at the restaurant but just fake working, he later told fans on Twitter.
Why did Stassi Schroeder got Jax Taylor a job at SUR?
Schroeder spilled on the first Give Them Lala with Randall podcast about the cast. “He was not even supposed to be on Vanderpump Rules,” she said. He was not working at SUR and they cast the rest of us and they were like, ‘Who are you dating?’ And I was like, ‘This guy Jax.” Adding, I own him!
Kent met Schroeder the same day she met Taylor. The day I met you is the day I met Jax,” she recalled.
So Stassi and I met when I was 18 years old for the first time,” Kent shared. I was modeling … at a magic show in Vegas and I met Stassi and I remember exactly what I was wearing and she was like, ‘Oh my god.”
Was Jax fake working his bartending gig at SUR?
Taylor and wife Brittany Cartwright left the show in , but thats when he admitted he wasnt an actual bartender. In fact, he insisted he faked the job for the show. Taylor had a Twitter exchange with a fan about his departure, which is when he said he faked the job.
We are very happy, I can’t fake work at SUR at 41 anymore done [it] for the past [five] years and have a baby it makes zero sense, he replied to a fans tweet shortly after the couple left. He added, Because its time to move on We had a good run. It doesn’t make sense anymore.
Tayor later doubled down on his assertion. I have zero interest in fake working at SUR for another year and making up excuses to fight kids half my age is tiring.
Did the show get too scripted in the end? Jax thinks it did
He later said the show leaned toward being scripted. “I was % checked out at the end,” he said in an interview only a few months after he announced he would not return to the series. “I was just very irritable on the show. It was getting a little bit too scripted for me and I just couldn’t do it anymore. It wasn’t fun.”
Taylor later shaded boss Lisa Vanderpump during an Instagram Live in March. “I don’t talk to Lisa now, I haven’t spoken to her,” he said. “She’s in her own world, and I don’t really … she’s another one that, eh, I could care less about. He then said again, She’s in her own world. Nothing mean against her. I just don’t really care either way.”
“The only people that I stayed in contact with on the regular like day to day … I still talk to everybody day to day. Like I talk to Stassi probably three to four times a week,” he said. “And I talk to Beau [Cleark] every day.” Taylor said that he speaks to Randall [Emmett] daily, plus Tom Schwartz. “I talk to Katie [Maloney-Schwartz].”
Stassi Schroeder says Vanderpump Rules shows real friendships
I remember the first scene we ever filmed, Schroeder said on the podcast. Which is when I said Im the devil and dont you ever forget it. And I remember leaving that scene and was like, what the f*ck is this show gonna be about? Its gonna be so boring. What, is it gonna be about me and Jax fighting? Like this is ridiculous!
Randall Emmett knew from the beginning the series was going to be a hit and he referred to it as a unicorn. Meanwhile, Kent was with Schroeder and thought the show wouldnt work.

The key to our show is real friendships, Schroeder said. I cant think of any other shows that are about a real built-in group of friends. Thats why we dont like thats why its really hard for new people.
Jax stassi schroeder and
Once upon a time, Stassi Schroeder dated Jax Taylor. While Stassi was very committed to their romance, well, Jax was less so. Still, Miss Schroeder had plans to some day become Mrs. Cauchi during their courtship.
"As embarrassing as this is, there was a point in time where I said that I wanted to marry Jax," Stassi reflected in the March 17 episode of Vanderpump Rules, the same episode in which Jax married Brittany Cartwright.
So, did Jax ever feel the same way about Stassi? Well, he rather candidly answered that question in the Vanderpump Rules Season 8 After Show, above.
"Did you ever want to marry Stassi?" Lisa Vanderpump asked him.
"Ah, no," he said, rather honestly, before breaking down why.
Stassi and her current man-slash-future husband, Beau Clark, also had some thoughts on the former SURvers dating back in the day, which they elaborate on, also in the clip above.

See Jax Taylor and Stassi Schroeder's Babies Bond During Adorable First Playdate
Jax Taylor & Brittany Cartwright Welcome Their First Baby
Jax Taylor and Stassi Schroeder just had a baby playdate that truly rules.
The exes and Vanderpump Rules alums posted photos and footage of their respective little ones enjoying a precious playdate together on Monday, April
The Instagram account for Jax and Brittany Cartwright's son, Cruz Michael Cauchi, posted a carousel of pics of the newborn boy playing and resting alongside Stassi and husband Beau Clark's 3-month-old daughter, Hartford Charlie Rose Clark.
Stassi, who welcomed Hartford with Beau on Jan. 7, commented with, "I. Am. Dying!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" and added four heart-eyes emojis.
She also shared truly heartwarming footage of the two babies appearing to gaze into each other's eyes as Hartford slowly made her way toward Cruz, with the Etta James song "A Sunday Kind of Love" playing in the background. Stassi later posted video of Brittany holding Hartford as the little girl appears genuinely curious about getting another look at a sleepy Cruz.
Jax and Brittany, who welcomed their first child on April 12, both reposted this footage via their own Instagram Stories.
Stassi and Beau, who wed in September, announced the pregnancy in June, not long after Stassi was fired from Vanderpump Rules along with Kristen Doute. Bravo made the decision after former co-star Faith Stowers revealed that the pair called the police on her with a false claim.
Meanwhile, Jax and Brittany announced on Dec. 4 that they would not be returning to Vanderpump Rules. As fans recall, Jax and Stassi dated back on the unscripted series' first season, so it's touching to see how close they remain.

There is no denying that Vanderpump Rules would have looked completely different without the likes of Jax Taylor. But what fans may forget is that Taylor would have never been on the show if it had not been for his romance with Stassi Schroeder. With Season 8 officially underway, Schroeder reminded fans that she is the reason Taylor was given a chance to star on the show in the first place.
Schroeder claims she introduced Taylor on Vanderpump Rules
During an interview with Lala Kent and Randall Emmett on their podcast, Give Them Lala…with Randall, Schroeder opened up about how she brought Taylor on the show.
According to Page Six, Schroeder says that Taylor would have never appeared on Vanderpump Rules if they had not been dating when the series started. Producers only considered bringing Taylor on board because he was dating Schroeder.
He was not even supposed to be on Vanderpump Rules, Schroeder stated. He was not working at SUR and they cast the rest of us, and they were like, ‘Who are you dating?’ And I was like, ‘This guy Jax.'
Schroeder then joked about how she owns Taylor, who has gone on to become a staple on the reality series.
Taylor and Schroeder broke up in the first season of Vanderpump Rules. They ended their relationship after Taylor cheated on her during one of his visits to Las Vegas. The pair reunited in season 2 before parting ways for good.
Schroeder is getting ready to tie the knot with Beau Clark, while Taylor recently exchanged vows with Brittany Cartwright — so at least things worked out for both of them.
Schroeder and Clark get serious
With Schroeder and Clark now engaged, the two have officially bought a house in Hollywood Hills.
Taking to social media, the Vanderpump Rules stars posted a photo of themselves posing outside of their new home. Clark is shown holding one of their dogs in one arm while showing off the keys to the new place.
Homeowners AF, Schroeder wrote alongside the pic.
The two bought the home for a whopping $ million. The property features a marble fireplace, massive exterior windows, and an arched ceiling.
Following the post, Cartwright congratulated the couple on becoming homeowners. Kent later added that everyone is becoming adults af, and her fiancé also said that the news was amazing.
Schroeder also shared a video of her dogs running through the house, plus a clip of her and Clark opening a bottle of champagne that was given to them by Lisa Vanderpump.
Inside Schroeders wedding plans
In July, Schroeder revealed that she and Clark are going to tie the knot in Italy in the fall of The couple toured several locations in the region before settling on a venue in Rome.
The Vanderpump Rules star later revealed that she wanted to exchange vows in the fall because she did not want anyone to sweat during the ceremony.
Although there have been rumors to the contrary, Schroeder noted that Vanderpump is not going to officiate the union.
Schroeder and Clark started dating sometime in early The two have become fan favorites on Vanderpump Rules, and viewers cannot get enough of their adorable romance.
Although the two are looking forward to their wedding, Schroeder has been dealing with a lot of drama on the show.
Drama explodes on Vanderpump Rules
During a recent episode of Vanderpump Rules, Schroeders book signing event turned nasty. Things got so out of hand that Tom Sandoval later revealed that Schroeder has been banned from his establishment, which he owns with Tom Schwartz.
If she comes in, shes getting thrown out immediately, Sandoval shared.
The drama took a turn for the worse when Schroeder called out Sandoval for being a selfish, egotistical piece of s—t in front of customers. To be fair, Sandoval was in a bad mood all night after his bartenders backed out of the event at the last minute.
Even still, Schroeder thought that he was having attitude issues because the book signing had nothing to do with him.
Sandoval later slammed Schroeder for insulting him in front of the crowd and was clearly upset with everything that happened that night. We do not know if Sandoval is serious about banning Schroeder, but he seems content with his decision for now.
Fans can watch the drama unfold when new episodes of Vanderpump Rules air Tuesday nights on Bravo.
