Cons: Flight delays cause cascade of irritable passengers. Flight out of Phoenix delayed due to late departure from previous location. We were told mechanical reasons was the cause of the delay. This caused many passengers to miss their connecting flight in Atlanta. When we arrived after midnight, one gate person was attempting to help 50 people with morning connecting flights and room accommodations. The airline knew 3 hours prior that they would have tired, hungry, frustrated passengers. To then have to wait more than an hour in a line to get a bed and or a meal was too much for most people. There were other smaller examples of how Delta's staff or procedures were not customer centric. I will avoid Delta for travel in the future, and I am getting out of their stock.
Cons: Our flight was originally scheduled for departure at 7:45 PM. We got an alert stating that the flight was going to be delayed but we were already almost to the airport when I received the first message on my smartphone. We received three additional alerts making our total wait time at the airport 5½ hours before we could approach the gate and board the aircraft. Seating in immediate gate area was not comfortable. Boarding was chaotic at best with very little control and guidance provided by Delta staff. The audio over the PA system was difficult to decipher much of the time. The only other available boarding status information was presented on the screens stationed near the gate and indicated PREMIUM the entire time during our boarding process and was never updated. We literally had to scramble through the crowd to get to the gate desk and get our boarding passes validated so we could board our flight with our group of passengers. Our seating on board the aircraft was thankfully good which is why I rated Comfort as Okay. We were saddled with one more delay after the flight left the gate and taxied briefly down the runway and then sat there for almost an hour. My suggestions to improve customer satisfaction based on my experience would include the following 1. Provide extended alerts for passengers travelling especially if the anticipated delay is known to the airline more than 2 hours before scheduled flight time. 2. Improve seating in the waiting areas near all Delta gates. 3. Re-orient all staff in proper boarding process and utilizing all available resources properly to provide clear and intelligible (not speeding) overhead audio messaging and current boarding status prompts on displays. 4. Maintain or replace audio equipment if necessary to help improve quality of audio messaging in all boarding areas.
Cons: My email read check into Aeromexico I could not check in the Aeromexico using my phone I was dropped off at the Aeromexico terminal after standing in line for half an hour I find I was in the wrong terminal I needed to be in a different terminal with Delta because Aeromexico even on my reservation read that does not fly to Tampa. I had to find a shuttle to another terminal the shuttlesare not marked it was very confusing

Cons: For some reason when I booked my flight, for this leg of it, I had "get seat assignment at gate". Once I got my seat assignment I thought I had a window seat: however, when I boarded the plane, I realized that I was in the very last seat of the plane in the window position, but no window. I was crammed in next to a wall and claustrophobic the whole way as I couldn't see anything, couldn't recline at all because behind me was the bathroom, and the engine roared at times in my ears to where I couldn't hear the passenger next to me when we tried to have conversation as the engine was right outside my "wall". We joked, when we could hear each other, that we must've pissed someone at Delta off the last time we flew them. I have no idea why I had to get my seat assignment at the gate for this particular flight, or why I was put in the 'flying coffin' seat, but it made for a very unpleasant experience. Why even have that seat in the plane? Everyone pays a lot of money to fly these days and deserves better than that seat when doing so. just take those two seats out and give everyone else a little more leg room = much better passenger experience for everyone...my suggestion if Delta really cares about the quality of passenger experience.
Pros: Flight delayed for four hours, then delayed another hour before we left. Delta won't let you pick your seats, so although we were 3rd in line at the gate, they put my family of four at the rear of the plane. I will never fly Delta again.

Flight from London - Chicago was delayed 6 hours. Of course missed connection in Chicago. Spent night in Chicago and arrived home 48 hours after leaving for Venice airport.

Cons: I didn't like the idea that I've had a four hour delay due to the fact that the airplane and DeRego showed up an hour late. There were no explanations and no apologies. I got to Dallas I was furious complain to customer relations. I at least wanted them to let me in to the admirals club so I could be comfortable for the next four hours. They refuse that but one lady at the customer relations apartment did give me a meal voucher which made me feel a little better.

Pros: I purchased a ticket for my 18 year old dog $ 125.00 each way to fly with me to Kalispell and back. She is so old that she can not SEE, HEAR, or BARK any longer. I understood she needed to be under the seat for take off and landing but I was told by the ticket agent and flight attendants on my first flight that she could sit on my lap during the flight. Everything was great on the way there. On the returning flight,.... the flight attendant was so RUDE to me. She saw that after we were airborne and at a steady altitude, I brought my dog "Kacey" up into my lap. She immediately raised her voice and stated the dog needed to remain on the ground. I politely explained her condition BUT she refused to listen to anything. I put my poor old dog back under the seat. After approx 20 min I could hear her patting very loud. I lifted her again and asked a different flight attendant for some water. She was very hot on the floor. Or course, the flight attendant saw my little chihuahua drinking the water and said that after she drinks a little more, she must remain under the seat. By now, my husband is getting annoyed. He tried explaining to the flight attendant the medical needs that my dog has " she's on protein shakes" which were approved their security. and how fragile she is. She can't BARK, SEE, or HEAR. Yes, we will be putting her down soon but we took her to Montana for my daughter to say her GOODBYES!! Sorry to say, but that flight attendant has turned me away from UNITED AIR LINES forever. My bag made it 3 days later to me because it was only booked on the 1 plane not all the way through to Tampa.

Cons: Lack of personal space is a fact of life for air travel unless one can afford the good seats. Plus, why do I always sit behind a crying, screaming child? I know it's no fun for anyone involved and it's just part of life, but maybe next time I'll be more fortunate. Flying in economy is truly like riding in a very big Greyhound Bus! It beats driving, but not by much. I wish trains were more plentiful and affordable.
Pros: The crew was the best part of the entire awful experience. The pilots let people tour the cockpit and the stewards were very accommodating considering their rules and restrictions. With so many delays, we were able to disembark the plane and come and go as we needed till we were able to finally board for takeoff.
Cons: We all received updates every thirty minutes with a new departure time and each time we were supposed to depart, there was another delay. The first delay was caused by a seat cushion floating device not being on the plane (hour delay right there) and then for the next three and a half hours, we all were constantly being delayed due to rain. The rain was not their fault but had that cushion been properly stocked on the plane, we would have missed the storm and been on our way. A two-hour flight became an eight-hour hell. Not to mention, the plane itself smelled like a seedy bar bathroom, I had to tuck my legs underneath myself because there was absolutely no legroom, and my row mate was a belligerent drunk. Getting home at 5 am Monday morning and going straight to work was not ideal. Would have been nice to be home on the same day that my flight was scheduled.

JetBlue gives many choices of snacks & whole can of drink. DirecTv - $7.99, JetBlue is free. We were a party of 3 that picked our seats to be together. Got to the airport & our seats were split up by desk clerk & she didn't even inform us of seat assignment change. She also put 2 of us in the Exit row without informing us. Did not know we were assigned to Exit row until we boarded. Our overhead bins were full with other passengers carryons. This should not be. Why can't passengers use their own overhead bins. Stewardess would not help us, she said find a spot up front, if not you'll have to check carryons. Terrible.

Pros: After many flights with United, I am always pleased with the level of customer service. I've only encountered friendly staff from the skycaps to the captains and everyone inbetween. I have never felt like I'm just a warm body filling a plane seat.

Cons: For boarding at the gate, attendant scanned boarding passes at one terminal and asked passengers to board next to another terminal across the room. Anyone could have walked onto the plane without a boarding pass, which seems to be a security concern. It felt as if I was seated over the rear wheels of the plane. During taxi and takeoff, there was an irregular bump that made a noise and vibrated the plane every second or so, and sped up as the plane sped up. I was concerned that something was the matter with the tire or wheel.
Cons: I was two hours delayed from my originating terminal in Denver due to a snow storm overnight. I arrive into Houston two hours late only to re adjust my remaining flights back to Denver. Two days later. What was supposed to be a one day trip to get my kids to spend it with me in Colorado. Is now turning into a three day filled adventure in airports.
Cons: I was in the center bulkhead seat with an very oversized man on the aisle seat with a "service dog". It was not a service dog in the sense that it was all over the place--on my feet and in the aisle where it tripped a stewardess more than once and she told him it couldn't be in the aisle. So it pushed over to my seat because the guy was just to big to share his legroom. It shredded napkins the man dropped which a trained dog would not do. it bounced his tray table up causing him to drop his two vodkas. I had to have the stewardess tell him to move his arm and body out of my seat so I could stow my tray for landing. When waiting for my ride outside the dog was off lease and ran into the pickup lanes where the man had to chase him down. A true service dog would never behave like that.

Plus we were delayed 4 hours in this crappy airport only to get on a really crappy plane. We were supposed to arrive in Tampa before 10 but wound up getting in like a red eye at 1230 am. Lost out on our ride home and we were so exhausted. I cried most of this flight home 2 1/2 hour flight. Nice staff but crappy plane. I am waiting to get a call to get reimbursed for my loss of time at work and the missed ride home.

On United website, it would've been $25 to upgrade each seat (not horrible), and the flight attendant told us we couldn't when we asked that they were $100+ seats and that there's nothing she could do. Thanks United. Guess I'll go back to being a JetBlue customer.
Pros: The employees were extremely helpful and friendly. I had just flown in with united from Hawaii and landed 6. 15 am that morning and the employees assisted as I was not familiar with the airport. Will definitely fly united again.
